our new neighbors and other updates

We have some new friends in the yard!!! David (the Amish neighbor who cuts our hay) asked if he could put a few HORSES in the barnyard to eat the grass down, we said YES! The fixed up the fence and put these beauties in. They are hard to take pictures of, so I'll keep trying...
In other news, we had a branch fall last week, that was exciting... Thankfully all the kids had left by then...
Anyone with ideas about cutting down trees that are REALLY tall for cheap, not to mention SAFELY - let us know...
Aaron has been working hard - I helped a little - getting the good wood separated from the bad wood, building a burnpile, and much more at the corn crib site. there IS progress, even though it doesn't look like muuch - it IS!!!
Things at the VanTiganLoo Farm are pretty well in general. We are enjoying the humid weather (not) and just having a good time being here together!
