I think the Hoar frost has been here for four days! what an amazing thing to wake up to!
I look out my window and if I can't see the neighbors house, then I know what to expect.
Early morning fog + cold temps = hoar frost.
I am sure there is more to it, but that's what I get out of it.
Today the sky got REALLY blue and the sun came out and everything was sparkley, then the hoar frost started to drop like snow. It was so beautiful and slow. David and I went outside to check it out. He laid on the snow and watched and caught hoar frost on his tongue.
really he did.

guess what? the word verification is "snowlect" i think that's what david did in the last sentence of the post.
he looks like the little boy in the Christmas Story -- who rolls around on the ground in his snowsuit and can't get up!
ok I was going to post that he looked like Randy from the Christmas Story, but Stephanie beat me too it. What BEAUTIFUL pictures!
BTW- how do your pronounce HOAR- cause in my head it sounds like WHORE and I know that wrong - in many ways.
