Look at that ticker! I've turned mine to say how many days so far... Seems like a real accomplishment that way instead of something I am waiting for... oh but we are!!!
Last night we took a nice after the rain walk around the farm. I love the oat "shocks" or "stooks".
Maybe you remember that from last year. Now they are on our land and that's exciting for us.
Our Garden is going totally crazy and we are SO excited about it! Hopefully those tomatoes will all make it and we can open a tomato business... or at least ship some up to the cities with the eggs!
We had our first egg delivery this week! Many thanks to the Butler Tigans for all their help in making that happen - and many thanks to those who go them! I hope it works out well for everyone, I know all I ever wanted when I lived in town was nice farm eggs.... ok that's not ALL I wanted... I wanted my OWN CHICKENS!!!
We made awesome spicy food last night and I've been trying to keep a "birthday cake" at the house... just in case there might be a BIRTHday!!! I know it will happen, I know it will happen...
Sour Cream Chocolate Cake with raspberries. Not too shabby! I could critique it, but noone but me wants to hear it. We eat pretty well here!

I love the picture of Aaron and Herc and the field! It reminds of an old magazine ad that would come from the 80's or something.
