Whew! I guess it's been WEEKS since I posted. Naughty blogger. We've been busy getting ready for winter and it seems like there's still lots to DO! Aaron has been taking care of business here around the farm. A few branches to cut down, a HUGE dead tree to wrassle... first oil change on the diesel, brakes... fishing...lots of stuff. Together we finally painted our bedroom! No more toothpaste walls for us - it's "earthy glimmer" from here on out! LOVE IT. I've been keeping the home fires burning - finally taking some steps to cure my fabric problem (do you like my curtains?), taking time to go to Jacob's party... mushroom hunting... still cooking for the crew...SO many things! here's some scenes from our days. It's definitely Fall. The corn is getting cut and the chickens are starting to look good enough to EAT! Woo Hoo!!!

Love your curtains! They seem perfect for letting enough light in and yet offering some privacy.

Wow, you guys have been busy! I can't believe how big the chickens are. (sniff, sniff.) The walls and curtains look great! I bet it all makes you sleep better too.
