HI!
Things have been moving right along here on the Ridge!
Cooking for the veggie crew has been great - I think my first pickles turned out pretty awesome! I've also been just trying to do what I can with whatever they have too much of - here's some tomatoes ready to be roasted.
Aaron has been busy at working for whoever needs him... this week he is helping build a big new milking parlor and holding area for a 900 cow farm - gross. there are a lot of flies there and he says it stinks.
It finally RAINED!! That has been a fabulous development in our world since I don't really like watering the garden... AND I found a nice patch of some of my favorite mushrooms - chicken of the woods. I'm not tellin' where I got 'em, but I was glad.
We went to the Readstown Tractor Pull on Labor Day - which Aaron had OFF - first time ever!
This 11 year old kid was our favorite.
We are painting our room! That's exciting. The color started out as what I like to call - toothpaste. Now we are going with Earthy Gilmmer, it's kinda browny gold. So far we have applied two coats, and as I write Aaron is on the third! more coats than we wanted, but thank God we bought 2 gallons!
The picking has been great in the raspberry patch - now that I am an old hand at canning and jamming - these goldens will be delicious jam!

yay! What a great update. I took Mary to our first tractor pull last year. Lots of fun.
nice to hear things are well in whiskeyson. we are very busy in pinacolodarado, though happy to hear everyone is so well.
