goings on

Well I feel like I am returning to the land of the living.
Or at least land of those who move about freely! WOO!
February was a hard month, and come to think of it, it often IS!
That's why they smack St.Valentine's Day right in the middle,
and we did have a nice one of those, I think. We had a really nice visit from our friend Heather, she works for High Mowing Seeds and was here for the Organic conference.

She brought us Butterworks Farm Yogurt and CHEESE!!! Talk about awesome. A good friend and some good food all at once! David REALLY liked Heather, it was great to see them together. We miss Heather and her husband Dann ALL THE TIME. They are good people.

David is just SO exciting all the time.
I probably will not stop saying how amazed I am by his learning process until he's all growed up. And like all parents there are somethings I just wish I could help him out with but I know that doing it by himself will be the only way he can learn it.

Today that is forward locomotion. He just keeps going backward!
I try not to laugh or run right over when he is stuck in a corner,
cause he's just gotta figure it out.

And won't he be proud when he does!
So will we.

We've been spending some nice outside time for a gimp and a baby.

We been stoopin'.
It just feels good to have the sun on our faces. Soon we'll be able to go for long walks again, but for now just checking out the springy world is really just great!
please don't touch that dirty cat...

Ham is totally right.

I think he's saying, "Mom, this necklace is starting to feel like a bracelet around my neck!"
