we harvested the alliums in our garden... we wish it hadn't rained and rained for a week beforehand... but it did - hopefully they'll keep - at least SOME of them!
They are calling for snow and frost over the weekend. I've decided to abandon the tomatoes. I don't feel bad (or at least I keep saying that). The peppers have been picked and some have been roasted. Hopefully we'll get the squashes all cleaned up before the snow... Luckily the Kale can take it for quite a while and the chard too.... just not as long. I've got some recipes to check out that I am pretty psyched about, so maybe I'll do a stint as a food blogger. Tonight we had some really yummy leek gravy with steak and potatoes... fun.
