WooHOOO!!! What a treat to have Matt, Michel, and Emelia come for a few days. I have been SO blessed by the Tigans visiting whilst Aaron has been away. I think this is one of the reasons we moved to the midwest!!!
When Aaron left the weather was nice, he loaded the basement with wood, and we thought I wouldn't even need it all... well we all know that's not the case! So Matt was kind enough to load it again for me - although I'm SURE I coulda done it in a pinch, it was really nice to be able to count on him.
Michel and I talked a lot about being pregnant and she helped me out SO much - it's really great to have someone so close to me to be so "in the know" about this amazing thing we are doing!!! I got a lot of questions ansewered and some discoveries too... like I have to go bra shopping and I am having Braxton-Hicks contractions already. My body is practicing! SO COOL!!
And then of course there is Miss Emelia, who is like a ray of sunshine. What a fun kid. She LOVES being on the farm and we love having her here. The chickens stayed away, but she had fun trying to find them and looking for their eggs in the nest. She also did great with the steers, giving them hay and going RIGHT IN TO THEIR PEN! (she was accompanied) I would also like to mention that Emelia LOVES Her-ca-leese and he is SO good with her, it was really fun to watch. We also got to fly kites on the hill! WHAT a good time!!!
