It was a delightful treat to hang out with Max in the chicken coop the other day...
I showed him the nest boxes and LO AND BEHOLD.... AN EGG!!!
And today there were TWO!
I am really hoping that the Araucana will show us the money
and lay eggs for us to find again.
I feel like there is a stash of them somewhere in the yard...
although they've probably been eaten by a skunk by now.
It's great to have eggs again though. It's warmed up enough that they are roaming the yard again and the daylight must be just enough.

yeay - maybe it is a sign of spring. (wouldn't want to get our hopes up Too much though, would we?)
