well I am boring this week and perhaps I have been for a while - many apologies for my postlessness - is that a word? apparently not says the computer - I say - it is now!
happenings?
we had our party, it was grand! I was so busy doing that I was not a very good picture taker...

Other than that things are just swimming right along in the getting coldness of our first fall in Wisco! The leaves and scenery here is absolutely beautiful and as I am always saying when people ask how we came from Vermont to Wisconsin "We call this as close as you can get..." We try not to think about those hills too much and to be honest to type that makes me want to cry. sometimes I get a little lonesome for 242, 58, 101, 118, 15 and all the other amazing roads in Vermont we drove on all the time. Those are some WINNERS people and if you haven't seen fall in Vermont - you should go. OR fell free to come visit us next here right here on Sugar Grove around the first week in October..... we call it as close as you can get!
Oh Geeze! We got some calves!!! now THAT's pretty exciting! They are very good boys. Their names are Elvis and Otis. Yes, we name something we will later eat... I think that's ok. I built them a little shelter in the barn to keep out of the cold and they are now learning how to drink out of buckets! WOO HOO!!! It's nice to find some animals for the barn... besides the cats...
Let's hope I get a little more bloggidy soon. there's sure to be more to share...

Glad to hear that everything is chugging right along for the two of you. I'm so sad that we didn't make it to your party weekend, I really wanted to work that cider press! Hopefully next time. Can't wait to meet Elvis and Otis!
