Our Garden...

Remember our GARDEN for the Past Few Years!

I don't...

Or at least I am trying to forget it...

I am pretty sure that big garden is 6 rows of trees away from our house!

So this year we (Aaron) cut down a bunch of trees

and we planted our garden right near the house.

Sure it's across the driveway, but I can look out the window and see it -

and that has made ALL the difference!

You can't really see it in these pictures - probably on purpose,

but there is a huge burn pile above these boxes between the grapes.

Next year we'll have that spot too and hopefully one of these will be just for strawberries!

I am also trying to put things in the natural containers we have...

I thought this chocolate mint would do GREAT here, and so far it has.

and is SO delicious!

David is an avid marigold picker and plant squasher...

so he's not really part of the garden scene this year...

(Look - he's the cutest garden menace ever...)

which has worked out just great for us,

because it's more fun to work in the garden together,

after he's in bed, just US!

and here's our new platform tent...

After the big rain at the farm party last year John and Mandy scrapped their tent

and I kept the rain fly!

Super fun!!!
