the barnyard and the yard and the boy

Things are pretty exciting in the barnyard these days!

We had a big icing here last weekend...

and it still persists, but will soon be gone with all this sunshine!

We've had some lambs... and some of them lived!

these are the realities of farmlife. It's OK!

We're just never going to let that ram escape again!

Which would be a real miracle coming out of the freezer and all...

David is really enjoying himself out there.

at first it was all about the lambs.

now it's all about the poop.

also we have fallen in love with poached eggs...

which for some reason makes me think about Dad...

which I do all the time anyway, and I'm not sure he ever poached me an egg,

but I know we talked about it...

and now I do it real good.
