What a joyful thing new snow is in February.

It covers up all of our little dirty corners...

and also makes the path to the chicken coop

a little treacherous because of the ice underneath...

but really friends, isn't it delightful!

Also it means that it is warm enough to happily

spend time outside with the boy.

We like to chop wood...

until it is unbearable -

which is earlier for him than it is for me -

usually.

The good old woodpile is shrinking, and that's a good thing,

there's some pretty nice wood in there and we are grateful for it!

Here's hoping something comes along to cover up the dirties for you!
