It has been a very busy week here on the ridge. Aaron worked VERY hard on MANY things to get ready to go to Vermont for a few weeks. The tile has been completed! Well - the tile part - now it needs to cure and be sealed... this will take a while. Now of course the rest of the bathroom needs a makeover and I want to go rip up the carpet... I'll let you know how it goes.
Aaron finally left for points East, at the time he wanted to, so that's great. I really miss him already and hope to get a lot accomplished while he is gone. I am TOTALLY jealous that he gets to be in VT for weeks, but know that he will be working (and I hope riding at LEAST once!). I also hope to go out there SOON!!!
The Tigans arrived on the ridge 20 minutes after Aaron left! Dad brought gear to prune the apples and grapes. What an exciting time. It is amazing how much you can take off a tree, and how much is still there! Barbie sewed curtains for the house which was SO needed and inspiring! Now I'll do the rest. I swear... in between everything ELSE! Spring is so exciting. There is so much to do, and all of it is fun and rewarding! Except maybe taxes... but let's hope that can be rewarding too.
